I want to take a moment to thank you for choosing my site and let you know a little about myself.
I have been with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage a little over Eleven years. I joined them after they purchased the company I was previously affiliated with, Prudential Arizona Realty. I was fortunate enough to win their silver circle award in 1997. In 1998 I was inducted into the Coldwell Banker International Diamond Society, a sales achievement society made up of less than 4% of the Coldwell Banker agents worldwide. In the following years, 1999 through 2006, I have been fortunate enough to close enough business to maintain my position in the International Diamond Society. I have held the designation of Executive Sales Associate from almost the beginning of my association with the firm, and have been a Senior Sales Associate for the last ten years. I also hold the International Designations of Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), the latter being a designation held by less than 4 % of Realtors from all companies worldwide.
Prior to beginning my Real Estate career, I held executive positions in the Wine and Spirits Industry in Arizona for over ten years and I also owned a restaurant in the state.
I have had the pleasure of living in Arizona for the past thirty-two years. I mentioned my other careers as well as the real estate because they are part of what has given me the opportunity to develop a great working knowledge of the entire state and especially the Metro Phoenix area.
I grew up in western North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina. I spent four years in the Navy and I am a Vietnam Veteran. My desire to move to Arizona started as a child, while reading my aunt's subscription to the Arizona Highways magazine, which describes all of the wonderful things the state has to offer.
The main thing I enjoy about the state is my wife; she is almost a native (since the age of three!) and she grew up in Scottsdale. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona, and her Masters from Arizona State University. She has taught in the Mesa school system for 20 years and has won numerous awards including "Teacher of the Year" in her specialty field. She is currently a Department Head at Skyline High School.
We both enjoy gourmet cooking and entertaining, traveling, reading and music. Also, we enjoy exercising (she more than I) and golf, (me more than she) and tennis. We currently live in Mesa and are active in various organizations in the area.
I have mentioned all of this because it is very important that when you choose an agent to assist you, you choose someone who knows the area and market well and can also help you locate resources for whatever your interests may be.
Through my years in business I have learned that the most important thing an agent needs to do is to listen to their clients and satisfy their needs. My pledge to you is that should you choose me to assist you, I will listen to your needs and satisfy them to the best of my ability.
Thank you.
